May 13, 2024

I apologize as I had one of the dates listed wrong on the activities next week. I went ahead and listed all the events again, with the mistake corrected in bold print.

We will have an Awards Assembly for students in grades PK-8 on Tuesday, May 18.This assembly will be held in the gym at 9:30 a.m. Any parents that attend will need to sit in the bleachers and will need to leave immediately following the assembly).

An Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday, May18 at 6:30 p.m. This event will be for H.S. students. A meal will be served at the beginning of the banquet. The H.S. students will eat free. For all others attending, the meal will cost $8.00. The PTO is supplying the meat for the meal and paying for the H.S. students’ meals. The school appreciates the PTO for this very much. The meal is a fund-raiser for the cheerleaders.

School will dismiss at 1:00 on Wednesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 20. Buses will run at that time on those two afternoons, so please make plans to have your child picked up at the bus stop early on those two days.

Semester exams will be administered on Wednesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 20.

The 6th six weeks and the second semester end on Thursday, May 20. This will be the last day of the school year.

The KG and J.H. graduation exercises will be held in the gym at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20. The KG ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00.The 8th grade ceremony will follow. We do ask that KG parents/families move from their rows following the KG graduation to allow 8th grade parents/families to have their seats for the J.H. graduation.

The H.S. graduation will be held on Friday, May21 at 7:00 p.m. in the gym.

We are asking that anyone who attends any end-of-year events to make sure that you follow COVID-19 protocols. This includes checking your temperature prior to attending as well as self-screening any COVID-related symptoms. If you are experiencing any symptoms, you should not attend the event. Face masks should be worn as you enter the building for any end-of-school event. We also encourage you to social distance as best as possible during these activities. It is awesome that we are able to conduct these end-of-year events, but we want to be able to enjoy them as safely and healthy as possible. Thanks for your understanding and your cooperation.
