A reminder that when your child is absent, you need to send either a parent note or a doctor’s note to school with your child when he/she returns to school. An absence will be counted as an unexcused absence if a note is not sent to school upon the student returning. This note should be brought into the office upon the first day the student is back from being absent, but it must be brought in by the 3rd day upon return to school.
School will dismiss at 1:00 on Thursday, December 16, and Friday, December 17. Buses will run at 1:05 on both afternoons.
Students in grades 7-12 will be taking semester exams on Thursday, December 16, and Friday, December 17.
The school Christmas program is scheduled for Thursday, December 16 at 6:00 p.m.
Friday, December 17 marks the end of the 3rd six weeks of school, as well as the end of the 1st semester.
There will be no school for students from December 20 – January 3 in observance of the Christmas holidays. School will resume at regular time on Tuesday, January 4.
I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday season. I hope that you are able to enjoy time with your family over the holidays. I also hope we can all reflect on the true meaning of Christmas during this special time of the year.
